An Important Acupuncture Notes

Eastern medicine provides us with an alternate way of viewing disease and the nature of our bodies.  Eastern philosophy on medicine is powerful, yet flexible, requiring an art to choosing a particular acupuncture therapy.  No single system (Eastern or Western) holds all the answers.  However I try to put them together to help patients with their physical and mental health.  The basic ideas behind acupuncture have been used for thousands of years to help heal diseases of the mind, body, and spirit.  In my practice I work on patients with a wide variety of problems including depression, back pain, infertility, and cancer.
Disclaimer:  Stuff through the web, like this acupuncture page, shouldn't be a substitute for one on one conversations with your doctor.  So read this for enjoyment and not for medical advice.
These notes are probably very confusing to you if you aren't used to acupuncture.  You would probably only find this interesting if you are an acupuncturist or an acupuncture student.  These are acupuncture gems that I've discovered.  I've written these basically as notes for myself and for sharing with other professional acupuncturists.  Much of these were derived from the Stanford/Helms notes on acupuncture.
